Ms. Bonds strives to pull out the best in all students. Ms. Bonds is the 6th and 8th grade Counselor. La Shell Bonds received her B.S. in Psychology , M.S. in Counseling concentration Pre K-12 School Counseling E.D.S. in Administration & Supervision.

Shannon Palmore
W. A. Bass School Counselor
Ms. Shannon Palmore is the 6th and 7th grade school counselor at W.A. Bass middle school. She believes that anything is possible, especially with a strong support system. Ms. Palmore feels that greeting the students with her warm smile, loving spirit, and kind heart will encourage the students to be the best they can be.
Ms. Palmore is originally from Birmingham, Al where she graduated from A.H. Parker High School. After high school, she came to Nashville where she attended Tennessee State University. While at TSU she received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Master’s Degree in School Counseling.
Ms. Palmore is a strong believer in academics and giving back. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc and Gamma Sigma Sigma National Service Sorority. She is also a member of Psi Chi National Psychology Honor Society, and Golden Key Honor Society.
Ms. Palmore is so excited to serve as the counselor at W.A. Bass and is looking forward to a wonderful and successful year.
