She has been employed in the social services field for thirty years. For the past six years she has worked at Bass Middle School.

She was born in Pennsylvania, but grew up in Nashville, TN. She graduated from Hillsboro High School. She received her master’s degree from the University of Tennessee. Personal interests include reading, traveling, camping, and riding horses.

Students are referred for her counseling program by school staff, parents, and by self-referral. Thirty students needing extra support to be successful are enrolled in this program.
