Jeffrey Bean
 

Jeffrey LaMar Bean is a W. A. Bass Middle School 5th and 6th grade Resource Teacher. He is also enrolled at Fisk University working on receiving a Master’s Degree in Special Education.

He was born on September 18, 1976 in Erie, Pennsylvania to two very loving parents, James and Darlene Bean. He was blessed to have parents to teach him many things about life. They have helped him to become a very caring, Christian young man. They have also helped him to develop values and morals for himself. His parents’ favorite quote is: “Never settle for anything less than your best.” For that reason, Jeffrey tries to do his best in all that he does.

Due to his admiration for helping other people, he volunteers for many organizations and been involved in many community service projects. He works continuously with the youth within his church and community, and tutors students after school.

Jeffrey attended Erie Central High School, where he was involved in numerous activities. He was a member of the D.A.R.E. program, after school tutoring program, Who’s Who Among High School Students, and others. He also lettered in three sports Football, Basketball, and Baseball, receiving second team All-State honors his senior year in football. In his high school years, Jeffrey was privileged to encounter many loving teachers who had an impact on his life. He personally would like to follow in their footsteps as he works hard to miraculously impact the lives of others.
